Flea Season Is Here—Are You Ready?
My Busy Peeps, it is once again flea season for our Busy Pups—are you ready for it?
We are. And there’s a very good reason why.
Last year, we decided to try out BioPower’s PetShield tags for our three dogs (now two), and to our surprise—they worked.
What Is It?
You just clip the tag onto your dog’s collar and let the frequencies harmonize with your pup’s energy. Pests don’t like it. It’s all natural, lasts a full year, has no stinky smells, and best of all—no fleas.
We’ve only pulled two ticks off of Clover in over 10 months. And in our area, that’s a big deal.
I Know… Frequencies?
Now, I get it. Frequencies can sound like snake oil or science fiction. I was skeptical too.
But here’s the truth: we can’t argue with the results.
And honestly? I don’t fully understand how my Apple Watch tracks my sleep or how I can video call friends in Canada and Arizona at the same time—but I use those technologies every day without needing to know all the inner workings. This is the same kind of thing. I use the frequencies, and I’m grateful.
A Few Things to Know:
It takes about 3–4 weeks for your dog’s system to fully harmonize with the tag
Sick or elderly dogs might need extra support
We also add a little apple cider vinegar and good essential fatty acids to our dogs’ food
We’ve used brewer’s yeast on and off too
The only time we saw a single flea was when Joy was sick, and we had taken her collar off for a day. As soon as we put it back on—no more fleas.
Tools We Use Alongside It:
We still check for fleas using a flea comb, and we use our Oneisall pet grooming vacuum to check for flea dander and keep the coat healthy and clean.
Is It Worth It?
Absolutely.
It’s easy to use, lasts for a full year, and when you look at how expensive sprays, topicals, and pills can get—this actually ends up being budget-friendly.
We’ve tried it all:
Diatomaceous earth
DIY sprays
Essential oils
Amber collars
Oral and topical chemical preventatives
Nothing has worked this well for us.
Here in the South, flea and tick season can last 8–12 months, so we needed something we could rely on. I’m just so relieved we found this.
